As a Keynote Speaker
Robin presents keynote speeches & seminars on Personal Branding, Marketing and Communication Skills and Success Strategies. He works with professionals, entrepreneurs, and organizations in helping them develop their personal or corporate brand, better their success skills, and assist them in telling their stories to a national audience via video marketing campaigns, product development & video presentations.
Robin uses his business, television, & entertainment experience to show professionals from a variety of industries, organizations, and associations how to Stand Out Like A Rock Star!
As a Television Producer
Robin has developed programming for network and cable outlets such as NBC Sports, CBS Cable, ESPN, TNN, PAX, Fox Sports, Turner South, and the BBC.
Some of Robin's successes includes the series of specials entitled “Full Access On Tour” for TNN (The Nashville Network). It was a behind-the-scenes look at Country Music's hottest stars while on tour that featured Trisha Yearwood with Vince Gill; Travis Tritt with Waylon Jennings; Joe Diffie with George Jones; Pam Tillis with Brooks & Dunn; Kathy Mattea with Emmylou Harris; and George Jones & Tammy Wynette with Alan Jackson, to name a few.
Another was the Decca’s Records television special he produced for CBS Cable and the BBC, entitled “Not Fade Away… Remembering Buddy Holly” – a musical tribute to Buddy Holly hosted by Waylon Jennings that featured Paul McCartney, Graham Nash, Mark Knofler, The Band, and 14 others world class music legends.
Also, “No Secrets: Rebecca St. James” which was nominated for Best Music Documentary by the Gospel Music Association.
In addition, there were a number of weekly “lifestyle” television series that aired through the years on TNN & FOX Sports.
Robin also produced the television biography of 4 Time NASCAR Winston Cup Champion Jeff Gordon. He went on to produce three other specials with Jeff as host (one for NBC) and three specials for NASCAR & ESPN including NASCAR’s 50th Anniversary Special.
Many of Robin’s productions have been featured in popular publications such as TV Guide, People Magazine, and USA Today. As a matter of fact, TV Guide named one of Robin’s television series “Go Fish”, one of the Top 10 Kids Shows of 1996.
As A Musician
Robin began his career as the guitarist /vocalist with the popular rock group “Backstreet” throughout the 1980’s which had him sharing the stage with top artists such as The Pointer Sisters, Three Dog
Night, Blood, Sweat, & Tears, Restless Heart, Firefall, Pure Prairie League, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Throughout Robin's career he has released three albums, performed over one thousand concerts, appeared on numerous artists recordings as either background vocalist, guitarist, or producer, and has appeared on various television and radio shows. And oh by-the-way, he competed for $100,000 on Ed McMahon’s national television show “Star Search”... the precursor to "American Idol." (Have him tell you about it. It’s a great story!)
